(Arch)diocesan Contributions

Approximately 93 percent of all donations to the Retirement Fund for Religious (RFR) benefit elderly and frail religious. Only seven percent is spent on administration and fund raising, much lower than the amount spent by many fund-raising organizations. Funds are awarded to the motherhouse or administrative headquarters of a religious institute. Consequently, though your diocese may have benefited from the ministry of women and men religious, financial assistance will only be awarded in your diocese if a religious institute is headquartered there. Please be assured that the sisters, brothers, and religious order priests who served in your diocese do benefit when you support the Retirement Fund for Religious.
